It’s April and for many April is a beginning and an end for many people. Every year millions of businesses and Americans must settle up with the Internal Revenue service during the month of April or face penalties and fines. For many it’s the official close of one year (good or bad) and the beginning of a new year (hopefully good). Recently I sat up late one night reviewing tax statements and I realized that the date on one of the statements was strangely familiar. As I thought about it I realized it was the date of my incorporation as a small business. Code-Frog System Architects, Inc. is officially 3 years old this April.

Many of you will look at 3 years and think that isn’t very long at all and wonder why I’m excited about it. To be honest. Unless you lived those 3 years running this business it just won’t mean that much to you. For me it means that to banks, lenders and peers I’ve got viability. I managed to stick it out as a business for 3 entire years and am now working on year number 4. During the first 3 years of my business I’ve experienced tremendous growth both personally and as a business. I’ve moved my business to four different locations all within 10 miles of each other. I’ve reported to work every single day for 1095 days and worked an average of 12 times that in hours.

I could continue to go on but frankly the details would bore you. So for me it’s a happy month and CFSA is now 3 years old.
