Delving into Code-Frog System Architects, Inc. one blog post at a time.

Welcome

First let me get started by saying welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy the things you find here and I’m open to your comments and suggestions about my ideas regarding many topics. I have wanted to start a blog for a long time and I have been encouraged by many to do so. For me this is the official beginning of something I plan to make as normal a part of my life as exercise is. The notion of a blog is kind of new to me but in some ways it’s just a simple variation of a conversation with friends you’ve met at a coffee shop. At a coffee shop you talk about mistakes, successes, hopes and dreams. More important than any of that though is just visiting with friends and exchanging ideas. It’s this idea of sharing information and experience that is compelling me to write about my experiences on a daily and sometimes more often basis. So I hope this works out well for everyone who stops by to read and hopefully say hi.

At this point you might be thinking why is this guy blogging? Why does he require registration for comments on his blog and what does he hope to gain from this? Well I’m blogging because it gives me a chance to reach a huge audience with my ideas and experiences and I believe I can have a positive impact on people from many walks of life not just computing and software development. I require registration because it’s my hope that will help with spam and also keep the comments down to quality comments made by people seriously intent on engaging in a valued discussion. Your information is yours and I will not ever share it with a soul but on that same line I wouldn’t expect a Christmas card from me every year either. What do I hope to gain from all of this? Well that certainly is an excellent question isn’t it. I’m not sure what I hope to gain. Right now I can only speak for what I hope to give. It seems like you always have to give before you get in this life and so for now I’m content to give and share.

Welcome to my comfy little home on the web and I hope you enjoy your visits. Feel free to express your own ideas in comments and feel free to disagree and engage me on any topic. I don’t by any means claim to be an expert on anything and I’m old enough to know that what I know today isn’t as much as I thought I knew yesterday.

Best Regards,

Rex Winn
